A Fun and Unique Way to Bid

It's almost New Year! During this season, most of us wants to have something "new" in our lives. Be it a new diet plan, new lover, a new hobby or a new electronic gadget. (I personally vote for the last one, haha!)

If you want a free gift, you’re a risk taker and someone who does gambling for fun – then bids4prizes is the one for you. . This sweepstake is a unique text based reverse-auction game, where the lowest unique bid will win the prize. I called it unique because it works like an auction game but not the usual highest bidder wins the prize - its the other way around. Strange huh! For you to win, you must text your bid for an item, the system checks on the most unique and lowest bidder (meaning the sole bidder for that item bidding the lowest price) – if the system sees you got the lowest bid for that item - then you win the prize! What an easy way to win!

It’s an easy and fun game and you don’t need to have a special skills or knowledge for you to join - to find out how it really works, bids4prize even provide a 2-minute video guide to better explain the deal. Prizes range from, Apple I-Phone’s, HDTV’s, Designer Bags, SCION XB’s to cash prize! When you check on this site, numerous prizes are being added everyday giving its players more motivation to join. There is a new winner everyday - so try it out, who knows – this might be your lucky day!

Buying gifts for the holiday can be a pain in the ass especially for those people who don’t have time to shop - it might also be a difficult task to do for those people who are tight on budget and wants to cheapest price for the product they are eye-ing to buy for their loved ones.If you have limited spending power, of course you would me forced to go on window shopping and look for the shop that would give you the same item at the lowest price. Whether you lack time or money, we’ve found a great site on the net that would help you manage your time and resources as well.

Mpire.com is a free web shopping search engine, giving you thousands of options to buy for your Christmas gift shopping. It lists thousands of products from hundreds of online retailers such as bestbuy, amazon, ebay etc that it would enable you to compare prices and get the best deal for your money. Of course you want to get the cheapest price for a particular product and no better way to do that than to compare the price of an item in one store against the other. You’ll know what online store would give you the best price and gives you the best value for your money.Furthermore, the site is also giving out reviews, shows data on price trending for the item and even gives out discount coupons on selected items.

I want to buy an ipod classic for Christmas – ipod nano would be very expensive for me, even if I would have that much money, I wont buy it, just because I feel I just need a simple gadget enough entertain me while commuting to and from the office – anyways, tried searching for ipod classic on mpire.com and was given results showing list of stores with their corresponding selling price ranging from $329 - $341. Of course, I would opt for the store that would sell it for only $329 when others would offer the same item for a price of $341! I think that’s really a nice grab! Not only was I able to buy a gift for myself in no time (I ordered it online), I was also able to save a few bucks with the purchase! It’s like hitting two birds at the same time.

Coke Zero for everyone!

Coke has always been my favorite drink since I was a child. Maybe the fact that mom used to let me drink coke since I was 2 years old made me love it so much. Till now I still drink it mostly after lunch (its best to have lunch with an ice cold coca cola!) – but since I’m really controlling my weight these past few days, I opt to have Coke zero – same real taste now with zero sugar and zero calories! As we all know, drinking softdrinks is one of the contributors why most people are overweight. Now, with products such as that on the market, dieting is not so much of a burden especially for a softdrink addict like me!

Being a serious dieter, I tend to research on those foods and drinks I put into my mouth… and when I've tried checking on Coke zero on the net – I’ve come across their interesting ad campaign entitled “Life as it should be” – here they have put in some old black and white film clips that will enable their viewers to manipulate and alter for their own pleasure. You can make your own film through it and send it to your family and friends! After making your own masterpiece, you could also compete with other moviemaker in getting the highest approved rating.

Enjoy ice cold Coke Zero while doing some video clips - a great way to spend the day...

emotera.com is now live!

Emotera.com is now out! thanks Malen for the support and Ruthie for persuading me to get my own domain, thanks also Reyna Elena for posting the very first comment though it still does'nt have so much entries in it... all your help is very much appreciated.

I've decided to have my own website (still hosted by blogspot though), and i intend to put in my everyday battle against being overweight. For the past 3 years I've been struggling with losing this thousands of fat cells in my body and somehow having a site that would allow me to "speak" my mind and help me monitor my progress is a great idea...
I hope you join me in this journey of overcoming my weaknesses and reviving back my old self....

Cheers everyone!

Security first!

Just the other day, mom received an important mail from her sister based in New York that looked like it had been torn open from one side. Some curious neighbor had taken a peek at her mail before placing it back. Well, good thing is they decided to put it back in the mailbox after peeking. Mom does’nt really bother as long as it is still in tact and I was shocked when she told me that most of her mail that came from her sister in US usually if not half open, is kind’a crampled. I told her that she should not allow these things to happen and she should not compromise her privacy. What if a certified theft is the one who manage to know that an important mail is inside her “not so secured” mailbox? I think they would’nt mind getting the whole stuff, besides in the wrong hands, her incoming mail can be a treasure trove of information about her. A bill from her credit card, a statement from her checking account and even an unsolicited offer for a new credit card that may include some basic information about her. That’s a scary thing.

I told mom to just purchase on of those security mailboxes that not only gives a very nice accent to her house but would also give her an added security for her incoming mail and outgoing mails…Mom loves to send and receive letters – and since she does’nt bother to study the art of emailing – she still depends on her mailbox to secure all her mails and packages. I suggested that if she decides to buy one of those locking mailboxes, she pick the one that would match the color of the house walls for added enhancement and to reiterate the motif she created for it. This is the locking mailbox I want for her house…

Everyone should take precaution especially now that Christmas is fast approaching. Though this is a season of giving and laughter - lets not forget that for some, this is also the best time to take advantage of other people, so just a friendly reminder...take care of your personal belongings and make sure that you bear in mind not to bring so much when you shop especially during this season...Merry Christmas!

Pending tasks...

I have tons of pending tasks but I can't find time and the drive to even start doing it...most likely the reason why I've been so lazy this past few days is because I was sooo disappointed with my EON card application which I need for me to encash my paypal savings account. I enrolled through the net and picked UNIONBANK Cubao as my host bank because its just one ride away from our house - not knowing there are a total of four UNIONBANK branches in Cubao. I followed it up and inquired about in their four branches (meaning spending 20 of my precious celphone minutes!) but was'nt able to have a clear information as to when will I recive it. Its been 3 weeks and till now I still was'nt able to get my hard earned money from blogging! Maybe once I already got hold of it...everything will be back to normal (hopefully). I just hope before my tasks expires, I already have the card.

By the way, two of my bestbuddies (sounds like teletubbies?) in college , Ruth and Malen spent the whole day in our humble house last Sunday...will tell you the whole wacky story and will post some pictures and a video (scandal?hahaha) of our famous dance number next time...oh no! For now, I need to rest na, just came from a very busy shift last night. Ciao!

I can't elaborate on this as of the moment because I still does'nt have the papers but God indeed is giving us tons of things to smile about...I now know that whatever your heart desires will be given to you iif you have the right motives. May everyone know that if God is the one taking over your life...nothing is impossible! God bless everyone!

FINDING HAPPINESS IN SMALL THINGS

I, together with Jojo and Mama, explored DIVISORIA last Sunday. I need to buy some stuff for the house and mama wants to buy gifts for her "inaanaks" but end up buying some small personal stuffs for ourselves! hahaaha.Of course, where else could you find the cheapest finds but in the Market Capital of the Philippines - DIVI. Since I know its a Sunday, I already conditioned myself of the traffic and the possibility of having to see by a lot of people, bumping and pushing each other while eagerly looking for the best deal they could find...making my
shopping task a difficult one. And I was not mistaken, hundreds or may I say thousands of people welcomed us..flooding most ofl the streets in DIVISORIA. At that point, I'm ready to back out, I never imagined the crowd would be this big - but I thought, we've gone this far..I might as well forget about how bad the situation might be and just put in mind the main reason I went here...to shop!

Enough of complaining, who was the one who actually persuade her mom and her boyfriend to go to that place on a Sunday anyway? It's me, isnt it? hahaha! So I'll just present to you some of the things I bought from DIVISORIA
that really made my day...only once a year was I able to visit this place. Last time was last year with my sister who works in Singapore when she came for a vacation.

One of those items I bought was this cute HELLO KITTY watch, believe it or not, I only purchased it for a hundred bucks!
It's so cute, and I love the color - im so into things with a black and white combination so this one is the perfect example of it...

Next is this cute BETTY BOOP bag, I remember when I was in High
School they call me Betty Boop ( I wonder why?hahaha!) and of course I noticed it immediately since it has again a Black and White plus red color combination as well. I grabbed it for only php 200! I was really surprised with the price, normally, this kind'a bag would costs around php 400 - 500 especially in some local department stores.

I also purchased this cute flip flops, hmmm...normally costs php 300 to 400 (
I saw the very same design in Rustans!) and would you believe, it only cost me php 120! I love the Dalmatian like design and of course how white handprint blends with the black base color. Very mimi!

The last "anik anik" I bought that falls into the black and white category is again a cute black and white large shoulder bag...the white polka dots design on a big bag like this m
ade it very classy and convenient to bring as well since Im so fond of big bags (I need to always bring my organizer so I need enough space to put it in). Only now was I able to realize that most of the things I bought from DIVI comprises of two major colors - black and white...hmmm...so redundant but I love it!

Besides those items I showed above I also have found here in DIVI most of my favorite things such
as make-ups (good thing I dont have sensitive skin for cheap cosmetics), coloring pens, big wallet, big shades, hairbrush, a lot of keychains and other small stuff in which prices ranges from php30 to 300! I dont mind buying cheap things as long as its durable and useful.
Let me show you some of it.

We finally decided to eat after 3 hours of roaming around the corners of TUTUBAN mall...unfortunately, all fastfoods and restos are full. I'm was so hungry at that time so I persuaded mama to just eat at CHICKEN BACOLOD INASAL since its the only resto at that time to have few customers. Mama is still hoping to eat at KFC (its her favorite) but no chance to have a seat for three. We've waited for almost 30 minutes for a chance to grab a seat but to no avail... she finally agreed. I cant describe enough how good it feels to finally be able to seat on a flat chair after walking for almost 3 hours, hungry and tired...!

Here are some of the pics taken while we're inside the resto. Took some pictures while waiting for our orders.

<------------Mama wants me to give her a portion of my newly bought VICTORIA SECRET secret crush cologne 125 ml (I purchased for only php450!). How can I refuse? She poured a quarter of it in a small
sprayer....hay.... what can I do? She's my mom!

I'm so hungry! But still manage to smile with the love of
my life who never fails to brighten my day always (yikee!) -------------->

Mama boasts about her bag she purchased for only php 200. Same bag costs php 400-500 if bought from SM.
Nice grab ma!
<-------

Mama and Jojo pose for one last shot while waiting for the rest of our orders to be served.... ----->

Went home at around 6pm...tired but happy. Why? Because I was able to bond with two of the most important persons in my life and was able to buy some cool but cheap stuff. Those things need not be expensive to bring me joy, being able to buy those things with God's financial blessing is enough for me. I'm so happy that God help me find contentment even in the most humble situation... I hope everyone who reads this maybe able to adopt the philosophy of seeing a glass half full instead of half empty and find their happiness as well even on small things. God Bless!

EYE OPENER

Rica, my officemate, just recently lost her father. She said it started with a simple asthma attack , and with a lot of complications in the body, led to fatal death. She said there is not a single hint that his dad would leave them very soon since his dad and mom even went on a date and saw a movie the day before that incident. All seems well - just a normal day for the family, and then suddenly..with a blink of an eye, everything has changed….

I came to realize that I'm so fortunate to still have both of my parents alive. I can still talk to them, hug them, pour out my heart and can still make them feel loved. I know death in the family is inevitable, but just thinking I can lose any or both of my parents anytime, without a single hint, is so frightening. Rica’s present situation opened up my eyes and made me realized how much I love my parents and I want to give everything I could just to make them feel loved and cared for.

I searched the net, hoping to find a site that will help me better take care of my parents in the future and was glad to have found Bettercaring. Bettercaring is a dedicated service for anyone who needs answers to crucial questions about care for themselves or their loved ones...Its a site that gives its readers helpful information on how children can better take care of their aging parents and for elders to better take care of themselves if they are living alone or just doesn’t want to bother anyone to look for them. The site even allows you to participate in a forum in which you could ask questions or even share your views with other readers and you can also give your personal advices. You could also write a letter for certain inquiries you may have in relation to caring for elders and the like. If your parents are experiencing health problems, for example, and you feel he/she needs an extra care that you can't provide yourself – you might also want to consider getting the service of CARE HOMES to ensure proper care and assistance suited for their specific needs are provided. Bettercaring also gives several links to different CARE HOMES available in several different areas and even writes a review article about it so you could know the specialization of the specific institution and how much they charge. Its a great site especially for those who are really serious to know how to take better care of their aging parents.

I will do everything to make the remaining days of my parents on earth a comfortable one for them...I will make sure that every passing day, I make them feel loved and cared for. I hope they know that the reason why I'm working very hard is to give them the best life I could offer (as they also did before)...and to Rica, who is in deep despair up to this day, my prayers are always with you. I hope the good Lord would touch your heart and take away the sadness that envelops you and your family. Always remember that your dad's death opened with so many eyes...eyes of those sons and daughters who never even care to make their parents know they love them...eyes of those children who had bitterness or anger towards their mother and father...eyes of those who felt that there is always a next time for them to visit their aging parents...Life is too short, NOW is the best time to make your mom and dad know how much you value them before its too late.

CHRISTMAS IN UK

Wants to experience UK this Christmas? Here's a few great UK destinations and find some (out of a thousand) ways to enjoy this festive season in this part of the world! Three of the most recommended cities to visit this Christmas are London, Manchester and Birmingham.

London needs little introduction…this capital of UK has the greatest concentration of major attractions in Britain and boasts four World Heritage Sites. There are 238 attractions, which are free to enter, and there's nowhere else in the world where you can see so much for so little. If you want to spend your Christmas in London, I’ve found three of the most popular ways to make your stay for the holiday a memorable one…first, because of the West End Christmas lights! In this season, London literally lights up! Those big stores on Oxford Street and Regent Streets shows up thousands of colorful Christmas lights that attracts thousands of tourists. Good thing…its free for all. You don’t need to give a single penny just to have this awesome experience. Second, you could attend the ever famous English National Ballet Christmas presentations that has been a tradition for over 50 years now. English National Ballet has been distinguished all over the world because of its creativity and world class performances and just recently included additional masterpieces such as Alice and Wonderland and The Nutcracker…what an awesome experience especially for kids (literally) and those kids at heart as well. Lastly, you could spend the day with your family in Christmas Ice Rinks just outside a museum, stately home or even a royal palace! Such a great experience to have your picture taken outside the great Hampton Court Palace – which has been a home for prominent King Henry VIII. And while youre there, why not explore the palace and get lost in the famous maze?

* Find cheap Hotels in London @ Cheaperthanhotels.co.uk

Next UK destination is Birmingham. The city offers many diverse activities this Christmas as well that are guaranteed to impress whatever your age or budget. Experience the stunning Canal boat light parade that starts from December 9 till Christmas wherein decorated boats will be winding their way from the National Indoor Arena to the Mailbox. This hugely popular annual celebration of Birmingham’s canal shows different boats adorned with thousands of lights and decorations as it glides through the Birmingham waters . You may want to dine in one of the many cafes and bars along the routes while watching the fascinating boat parade or just relax on the town path as the procession goes by. A romantic way to spend Christmas with your loved ones…

* Find affordable Hotels in Birmingham@Cheaperthanhotels.co.uk

Last but not the least, you might also want to try celebrating this festive season in Manchester, England. Here you could visit the magical Manchester Christmas Markets in Albert Square, St Ann's Square, Exchange Street, New Cathedral Street and Brazennose Street. Amongst the best in Britain and Europe, the markets transform the city with their charming traditional wooden chalets. You cannot help but get into the Christmas spirit whilst browsing around the bustling stalls, soaking up the unique atmosphere beneath the twinkling lights with the aroma of hot chestnuts filling the air. Every year there are new attractions for visitors - the most recent being a 6m high Wolhnachtspyrymide (a giant German Christmas Pyramid with Nativity scene), which sits on top of the German Beer Tent and a magical Alpine House which is traditionally decorated and houses a giant multi-lingual talking reindeer! What a wonderful way to enjoy this event with the whole family!

Honeymoon Destinations

I'll be turning 28 next year! Wow! How time flies…I used to imagine myself getting married at the age of 23…and now, 5 years after my target age, Im still SINGLE! Well, single in a sense that I'm still not married though I already have a fiancé. We talk about marriage once in a while but were not able to really go into deep discussion about it. As of this point having a family of our own and being tied up to each other for the rest of our lives are far from our minds.

But every womans dream is to get married of course! Since childhood we are taught that being a wife should be one of the ultimate goal of each and every woman (besides being a mother)l …just thinking of walking down the aisle, dressed with a fancy wedding gown, seeing envious eyes staring at you as you meet your prince charming in front of the altar is the best experience a girl could have!

And of course after the wedding, its honeymoon! It’s a way newlyweds celebrate their marriage with seclusion and sexual intimacy. Its so special that you opt to celebrate your union in a place secluded and of course romantic (just thinking about this makes me sigh….)

I’ve read an article about wedding and honeymoon destinations and I’ve learned that there are several Hotels in Berlin (translated version: Hotels in Berlin) that are housed in ancient castles and palaces, after reading that, I think that idea is awesome! Imagine, spending the much awaited night, with the most special person, at a place only kings and queens could use….is such an exciting experience! That will just not end there, in Berlin you could find several romantic things to do such as taking a river cruise and explore different historical cities and vineyard, visit old museums and fascinating landmarks and at night you could dine on their fine and exquisite restaurants. If our budget will allows, I will definitely want to spend at least a night in one of those Berlin Castles, then, for the succeeding days, I could just look for different Hotels in Berlin that offers accommodation at a lesser price.

On the same article on the net was I able to know about Vienna as well . If you also want a honeymoon for royalty (I do!), you could go also to Vienna, Austria and visit the most famous Imperial Palace. You could walk through the doors of the imperial State Apartments…the former private apartments of the imperial family which was now open to the public. If you want to experience being a king and a queen even for a day…you could immerse yourself in the daily life of monarch by visiting this monumental site. You could also find several things to do together in Vienna, also known as the world capital of music...it’s the home of the worlds famous operetta and musical composers such as Joseph Haydn ,Franz Schubert, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven. . I can’t really think of a more romantic way to spend the evening with your better half than attending the opera’s in Vienna. The selection of venues and performers is huge in Vienna, so whatever time of the year you visit it should be possible to attend one or several concerts, especially in churches. There are also concerts and opera performances that are housed in some Hotels in Vienna (translation: Hotels in Vienna), so you might want to ask for a specialized package for that as well once you book your stay. If you want to experience being a royalty on your honeymoon, you might want to consider going to Berlin or Vienna...but do remember that wherever you choose to celebrate your marriage - be it in the most humble place, the best thing you could offer your better half is not measured on how extravagant your honeymoon experience is but how you let her feel that only being with her for the rest of your life is what really matters.

Ol' I want for Christmas is ....

All I want for Christmas is a....new digital camera. Yeah I know I already have one but this time I want the coolest digicam on the market today... I'll buy an All in One device that can be used as a photo camera, video camera or even as a webcam. I intend to buy soon but have no time to go to electronic shops to at least look into the coolest digicam designs available. Good thing I’ve found SAVEBUCKETS! Its a price comparison site which allows you to compare prices on a wide range of products through hundreds of different shops ! If you also want to buy a digital camera , you need to click on that specific category and it will lead you a page that features hundreds of available items in the market along with a short description and price. Click on a specific item of your choice (btw, you could sort the product by name and by price)and it will pull up the product description page that gives you the specification of the item, the price and a link of the shop where you could purchase it. Once you’ve already decided what digital camera to buy, SAVEBUCKETS can direct you to the shop’s website where you could purchase it. Most shops accepts online payment (through debit or credit cards), by phone or by fax. Most Delivery will be made to your home via a suitable method, which is normally by courier.

If you’ve found the perfect item on the list but the price is a little over the budget that you have set aside to buy that product, there’s a portion on the description page that is called MY PRICE that allows you to you to enter your email address and the maximum amount you are prepared to pay for that item – that information would be saved on the websites database. SAVEBUCKETS will then check the prices of that product across all their affiliated shops and will inform you through email once the product has reached or falls below your maximum price then direct you to the shop that offers it! What a great way to save both time and money!

Going to different shops to look for the perfect digital camera is a such burden especially for busy people like me ( its time consuming)…good thing, Ive discovered SAVEBUCKETS – I know through it, I could get the best digital camera -at the price I can afford, at the comfort of my home - in no time!

An Ideal Vacation

A good friend of mine, Ice, asked me a Ms. Universe kind’a question last week…”If you were given a chance to go out of the country – all expenses paid, where would you go and why?” I wasn’t able reply immediately as I feel I need to give it a deep thought first ( I don’t want to lose in a Ms. Universe Pageant just because of a dumb answer, hahaha!)….and now (finally after 3 days!) here’s how I’ll gonna answer it - if given a chance I would like to go to Italy. Why? Because it’s a perfect tourist spot especially for those people who are artistically inclined like me! (is that a joke? lol!)

Seriously, Ive always been fascinated with Italy's ancient history and culture…I want to explore the magic behind its distinctive landmarks. It seems like there’s always something new to discover in that place…a mystery lying in its walls…a story yet to be told…It has been likened to one vast museum and no other country in the world has such a rich heritage of artistic creativity like it.

I specifically want to visit Rome… here you’ll be able to find the famous “the Coliseum” – one of the greatest architectural feats of ancient history . It was here that gladiators met in mortal combat and condemned prisoners fought off hungry lions. This great symbol of eternal Rome still excites the imagination as you'll see from the hordes waiting to get in. Here you’ll also be able to see the Vatican Museum where it features some of the world's greatest masterpieces by artists such as Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael. Just thinking of being able to see their work of art (with my own eyes) gives me the thrill and excitement I cannot explain.

It seems like you can never run out of things to do in Rome …You could take pictures and throw coins into Trevi Fountain, climb the famous Spanish Steps and later in the evening enjoy a latte in Piazza Navona . furthermore, finding a place to stay is not a problem…you can chose several Rome hotels that offers the best accommodation package that will suit your specific needs and budget.I suggest that while planning your ultimate vacation, surf the internet and search for Italy hotels that will provide you a discount when you reserve months before your actual stay (most hotels does).

I don't know if my dream of having a vacation there will come true in the near future, what I'm certain about is that given the time and resources - I wont hesitate to fly to Italy for an adventure of a lifetime.

Education is the best gift any parent can offer their children…not money or anything else. Its something nobody can ever take away from them – wherever they go, whatever they choose to be – education plays a key role or even an ultimate determinant on how they could succeed in life.

Unfortunately, though parents wants the best for their children, not all are gifted with a sharp mind and good memory especially if learning in school is not their cup of tea. Sometimes children who gets low grades losses their self esteem that often leads to depression and anger. Children like that needs help… good thing there are several ways on how parents can help them to catch up in school or even make it to the top of their class - and one of those options is by enrolling them in an online tutoring class. Those kinds of classes offers remote coaching sessions round the clock which means your child doesn’t have to go to a coaching school nor a tutor needs to go to your place at a specific time of the day… talking to a live tutor is just a click away…wherever you want them, as many times as you need them (what a convenient way to learn huh!)

Stuck in my PC!

Well, to give you an update on what happened to me last week...well...grabe! I dont know, but lately Im feeling this urge to be always in front of my computer. Is it a disease or something? I'm not sure, but lately talaga...since I had this part time chorva of mine...I feel that no time should be wasted since I need to finish those pending reviews pa. Time is gold (or dollars) ika nga. So my Saturdays and Sundays are spent in my own corner of the house doing nothing but update, review tasks and redesign my blog (hope you like it, its 3 column na! yahoo!)

Well I want to continue sana my that's entertainment chorva kaso Im running out of time...I want to research about it pa para mas maganda...hahaha! (kinakarir!).

I'll just tell you what happened last week...well I actually submitted a letter of request for a lateral transfer sa Convergys Makati site... I think they are open for TSR's for a certain Cable Internet company - ang maganda its a pioneer account which means you'll be included sa first batch that will be trained by the clients themselves. The success or downfall of that account somehow depends upon you (big responsibility huh!) Well, Ive been always thinking of working in Makati coz most of my previous jobs are Ortigas based (for a change lang)...a
nyway, Ive heard from my coach that only 3 TSR's from our account (AT&T) expressed their intention to apply (btw, at&t account is the #1 account of Convergys in the Philippines so she said malaki daw ang chance kung papayagan ng Operations Manager) and that includes me, Rica (my teammate) and another one. I dont know what will happen pero I pray na sana maapprove sya...and if it was, I think we need to relocate in Makati na rin since our place is 2 ride away from it. My coach told me that the salary will be the same, the position will be the same - ang maganda, me relocation allowance and I think may 2 weeks accomodation in a hotel...(for those TSR's coming from the province syempre pero unfair naman kung di sya inooffer for Manila based applicants). They need 40 CVG applicants for a lateral transfer so Ill just pray that God will give me again the desires or my heart...if not, I know something better is coming my way...

Also, on my
way to the office - I saw an big billboard at the top of Robinsons Galleria and seems like I saw the letters CVG on it. As I look closer, I was in awe as it really is an ad from CVG. I felt proud in a way, maybe I was just shocked to see my company using that tool to attract applicants. I cant help it so I took a picture of it (blurry lang since Im walking while I took it - I dont want to attract attention noh).Eto pa, my officemate Rica show me this MRT card that she purchased on the way to the office and here it again shows the company name urging applicants to try it out and apply...here is what it looks like...
Its just so funny how CVG is getting all the means to promote the company...so much effort talaga! They are opening up I think a total of 3 accounts in 3 different sites in the Philippines - one in Cebu, one in Bacolod and one in Makati - no wonder they are soliciting applicants! They even gave us (current employee) an incentive in which if we refer someone and they get hired, CVG would give us a minimum of P15,000 for each referral...easy money huh! So if anyone is interested in applying, email me @ m
ylessomething@yahoo.com --- > rerefer ko kayo promise, 50/50! hehehe.

And lastly, I also saw an article posted on our Team Board from Libre newspaper (free newspaper for MRT commuters) that also put CVG on the limelight and syempre I took a picture of it as well...(I'll gonna show this blog to my mom din kasi to let her know Im in good hands naman kahit palipat lipat ako ng work...hehehe).

I know there are things that I dont like about CVG (who does'nt?) but were not living in a perfect world.... as for me, I promised myself not to look at the bad side in every situation. I still intend to work here , Im still proud to be a part of the #1 Contact Center in the Philippines, and if God will lead me somewhere else...Ill forever be grateful that I became part of it. As I said on the previous blog enty, everyone has its own story to tell, fortunately for me, I'm still happy the way things are going and hopefully that will stay that way for a looooong time. =)

Lighting Needs?... Farreys.com

Having a house of your own is such a great achievement (especially if you purchased it with your own blood and sweat of course). I want to have one someday...I want it so bad that I can already picture it out in my head. I imagine it to be like one of those houses I saw in a magazine wherein a 3-storey mansion is filled with accents and light fixtures that emphasized the real beauty of its architecture. Its looks like a hotel, the only difference is that it’s not for public accommodation… (too bad)

Well enough of daydream, and speaking of home accents and lighting … I come across this site that can provide us with all the options available with regards to our lighting needs – FARREYS.COM.

You could compare prices, functionalities and designs of those lighting products all on the comfort of your own home!

Furthermore, they also provide its visitors with information about the latest promos and sales offerings of its affiliate shops… helping them to make the most out of their moneys worth. So remember for all your lighting needs, there’s only one site to visit - Farreys.com.
