Future Plans

Hi everyone! Been busy these past few days because of work and other extra curricular activities. Besides concentrating on my full time job as a call center agent in one of the most respected call centers in the country, I am spending so much time with my officemates / friends at the office. I am very blessed to know my friends / teammates who are all unique individuals that share common interests with me. I think what really drives me to go to the office and still continue to work on my current company is the warmness of friendship I am receiving from them. Never a dull moment when we are all together!

Christmas is fast approaching and then new year...times like these makes me reflect on what I want to achieve in life. I don't want to be an employee for the rest of my life serving people
who owns the corporation. I want to have my own Home Business and earn on my own. I also want to just work at home so I could have the luxury of time and can get up whenever I want to. I am thinking of pursuing my online job and just Make Money Online. I am still weighing my options but I think I would stick first to my plan to continue working in my current company for the next three years so I can get our early retirement benefits. That amount would definitely help me in going through a fresh start after I resign. Anyways, I am working on looking for a lot of opportunities on the net and luckily I was able to find a Plug-In Profit Site that aims to help people maximize their potential to earn money online. I hope a lot of people could see how this site can help them increase their online opportunities even if they are just a newbie in the internet world.

Affordable Quality Speakers

Anyone who wants to buy speakers? I'm happy to introduce to you thespeakercompany.com - a site that offers affordable ceiling stereo speakers! It's a portal that would give you the best speakers there is at a very low price. They do have the resources and knows where the best loudspeaker factories are and know who runs them and because of this, they are able to negotiate prices. Due to this mutual understanding between thespeakercompany and those speaker factories ... you'll be assured that you'll gonna get the best speakers at the best price!

Thespeakercompany offers different kinds of speakers... from Surround, Satellite, In-Wall, In-Ceiling Speakers to Outdoor, PC Multimedia to Home Theaters. Most of us might think that buying speakers from your local store might be better than buying on a website because you can hear the speakers in the showroom - but the problem is, listening in a "showroom" can be deceptive as it "usually" does'nt positively sound the same when you get home. Thespeakercompany definitely have this in mind and knows that the best place to test the quality of the speaker is at your own place at a specific location... the website features different articles to help you find the best speaker you need. The site also presents the product itself with the price plus complete specifications, additional information, additional images and even customer reviews to make sure you'll end up getting the most appropriate speakers depending on your needs and budget.

Thespeakercompany knows a thing or two about sound and how to bring quality speakers at a very affordable price to its customers - so check on the site now for more information.

Loving and Special Care

I've been sick for almost 5 days last week, good thing, my hubby who is now doing online jobs full time at home has been my personal aide who helped me go to the bathroom, fed me, bought medicines for me so as to make sure that I would feel comfortable. I was so touched by his warm gesture especially when he fell asleep on my side on a sitting position - maybe because of several sleepless nights where I always rely on him to attend to my needs. I am just so fortunate to have someone who is willing and who does have all the time in the world to do those things for me.

After that experience, I began to give more value to my health. I don't want to bother anybody (even if he is my husband) to attend to my needs whenever I am sick. I want to take care of myself and if I am not capable of doing it, I would hire someone that would help me do those things...after giving it some thought - I thought of my mother. My mom is already 63 years old but is still strong and manages to do things herself. I feel that in time, I know and its inevitable, that my mom's strength to do those things she used to do will slowly vanish and would soon need to rely to someone to help her do daily chores. I am more than happy to take care of mom when that time comes but since I know my mother a lot (we do have the same perspective in life) - I believe she would rather hire someone to help her do her daily chores rather than bother any of her children. It would also give her a sense of independence knowing she is able to manage everything her way. I was able to browse the net and stumble upon Fresno homecare which provides one one one in-home care for elderly which would allow them to maintain independence of their daily routines and familiar surroundings in their own homes. I know mom would be happy to know about this - she is a tough mom and used to do things her own way, but there are some things we cant control such as aging - but I am happy that there are institutions like these who offers such service. I know that the remaining days of my mothers life would be enjoyable and comfortable as there are a lot of us who wants nothing but to make her happy.

Glutonny Day!

I've had my rest days last Thursday and Friday...and in those two days, wala akong ginawa kundi magfood trip. Haay...I really feel sluggish. Kain, internet, tulog, nood dvd lang ang routine for those two days and what's worse, just a while ago...sumama ako kay Jojo sa Munoz to accompany him mamalengke and grabe, hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko sa kakakain. Bawat kanto atang me binebentang kung pagkain binilhan ko eh. huhuhu. I cant help it - kailangan ko talaga ng comfort food!

I asked Jojo if he could buy me kahit 4 sachet of milo lang. We eliminated Milo or any chocolate drink sa grocery list namin kasi nagdidiet ako so decaf coffee lang meron sa bahay. Akala nyo titimplahin ko sya? No. Papapakin ko lang. Weird noh, pero I feel happy pag ganun ginagawa ko. Reminds me of my childhood kasi namamapak ako ng milo nun with my nieces.

Joo bought me 6 pcs of Donuts. Sobrang nagcracrave ako for donuts lately and take note...gusto ko lang strawberry field.

I also bought this siomai nung napadaan kami sa bandang waltermart. Hay, I can't stop myself.
Muntik narin akong bumili ng pizza sa katabing stall buti nalang di pa sila bukas. It's only 10:00 am that time.

And we had a hearty meal of porkchop and take note sa dami ng sawsawan ko. Kamatis, Gravy and Toyo with calamansi. Sobrang abnormal ng craving ko these past few days. Nagpabili pa ako ng coke para kumpleto ang kainan. Sa sobrang takaw ko, nagkamay pa ako. Yesterday, I even asked Jojo to buy ice cream. Ganadong ganado talaga akong kumain nung day off ko. Naiinis ako sa sarili ko kasi diet ako ng diet and then babawiin ko rin lahat ng nalose ko sa restday ko. Hmp, ang sarap kasing kumain eh. sigh.

Mama's Birthday Celebration

Jojo fetched me at around 6:45am at my office and we went home immediately as my brother along with the rest of our clan would be celebrating my mom's 64th birthday in my Kuya Edwin's house in Bulacan. I immediately prepared all the things we need to bring and cooked some Vigan Longaniza I bought at Emerald Bancheto during our lunch. They fetched us at around 7:30 am and off we go to Bulacan. I had a really nice time especially with our two babies, Eddyson and Emerson. Tita Beth also came with us with two of her grandchildren, Andre and Nadine. Of course, Ate Mel and Kuya Edwin is also present with Eddyson's yaya Maring. On our way, I bought 2 pcs Lechon Manok as my ambag for the celebration and I took this very cute picture of my nephew Empoy as he struggle to stand still as he is afraid of taking another step closer to the van.

We came to the house at around 10:30 am. To be honest, sobrang naawa ako sa bahay nila. Actually, that house was bought by my Kuya and his former wife for their family...unfortunately, their relationship did'nt last forever so the house has been abandoned as nobody wants to live there anymore. We only come here twice a year, so pagpasok namin...sobrang dami nang agiw. Sayang talaga, sobrang ganda pa naman ng place. They have 2 bedrooms and a maid's room. Plus a very nice kitchen, a huge lawn and an extra room for laundry. Naiwan ang nag-iisang tv kaso di nakakakuha ng reception, buti nalang, kuya brought with him his laptop...and buti nalang may dala akong dvd. Watched Caregiver and Hancock.

Btw, mama wants the food to be on the native side so they assigned Jojo to have the large tilapia grilled. Mama also cooked Pinakbet (her specialty) and brought Malagkit and Pancit. Ate Mel cooked fried Tofu, talbos ng kamote and okra with bagoong, and of course my Lechon Manok. We really had a very nice lunch time together, I've eaten so much and sobrang asaran talaga ang naganap sa harap ng hapag kainan! Mama boasted that only now did people found out about the miracle Malunggay gives to the body...and proudly say na "kaya kami matatalino nina Tita Beth kasi batang malunggay kami..." Hindi ko na kinontra si mama kasi birthday nya naman, so nagpatawa ako about the text i received from my friend Ice about a certain taong grasa, asking a student for a coin...the student apparently asked the taoong grasa if he will just use the money for his bisyo...the taong grasa said "wala ho akong bisyo" and the student - upon hearing that said : "halika muna sa bahay namin, ipapakita ko sa nanay ko kung anong nangyayari sa mga taong walang bisyo...." - my kuya Edwin and Ate Mel laughed so hard....but mama remained silent and seems absorbing the things I've said..." ah bakit daw walang bisyo..." and we started laughing so hard that we almost run out of breath...I said..."ay ayoko nang kumain ng malunggay mula ngayon...." teasing mama because her pick up is slow at that time. Mama, realizing what I was implying just laughed and tap my shoulder saying..."inaasar mo na naman ako ha!"

That was a really enjoyable time with the rest of the family, but it would be much happier if Ate Em's family is present. Anyways, after a busy lunch time, I took a nap as I have been awake for 18 hours already. Nagising ako, uuwi na kami at 5:00 pm. Hinatid nila kami hanggang bahay and pag-uwi..plakda na ako.

Im so happy seeing my family again. I hope we could have more bondings in the future that would be as happy as this one.

I Want Letter A!

It's my restday yesterday pero di naman ako natulog since I changed the templates of 3 of my blogs. I intend to post regularly sa lahat ng blogs ko so I could also earn more from them. Also, mas nakakainspire magpost especially pag maganda ang template, diba? Hay, I don't know why I am am craving for Letter A! That's what I used to call burger meal of Jollibee when I was young. I don't know why I suddenly want to eat that this morning so I with Jojo went to Jollibee Araneta @ 5:30 am to satisfy my craving...anyway, he would go to his mother's house that time to deliver something so sumabay na lang ako. Kaso , grabe...I thought 24 hours open sila pero to my dismay, sabi ng guard...6:00am paraw...so we've waited patiently till 6:30am! grabe, gutom na gutom na ako!

Pero it's worth the wait...I don't want anything but a regular yum with fries...Iniwan ako ni JOjo doon and I ordered not one, but two regular yum meal! Gluttony itech!

Yup this is all miiiineee...diko na pinalarge kasi 2 orders naman kakainin ko. Ewan ko pero ayaw ko talagang madatnan ni Jojo yung inorder ko kasi ayaw ko syang hatian. Me damot factor pa, ano bang nangyayari sa akin?

Pagdating ni Jojo, nag take out nalang kami kasi ubos to the bones na yung inorder namin. Haaay...bakit kaya ako nagcracrave? This is it na kaya? Darating na kaya ang angel namin?Hmmm...sana, sana...

Work at Home Writing Articles

Even at an early age, I already know what I want to be in this life - an entrepreneur. I want to work from home and take care of my own business. It's very clear to me that we only live once and having a full time job, working 9 hours a day, somehow makes me feel that I am depriving myself of life itself. Being able to divide my time to things that matters somehow makes me in control of the situation. I am still not ready to quit my job right now as I still need to save up a little more for my business and God had blessed me and gave me a part time job that would enable me to earn extra dollars everyday just by writing articles on my spare time at the comfort of my own home! I also was able to know about the Paid Article Submission Program by Encyclocentral. How does it work? Once you've been accepted by the Encyclocentral system - you need to write an article about a certain topic that will be given to you such as Gadgets and Gizmos, Business and Finance , Travel & Leisure among others. You need to write anl article which is 350-500 words. You need to have a proper use of paragraphs and should be informative and does makes sense. They usually pay $5.00 USD per article and payment is being sent through paypal every 5th of the month. This is a great opportunity for those who finds pleasure in working at home or someone who wants to earn extra.

GPS Vehicle Tracking Sytem

Hi there everyone! Will share with you another new innovation in technology called GPS Insight vehicle tracking system. This will do a remarkable impact in the world of transportation and communications! This device is so helpful and efficient that I think anyone who has a vehicle must have one!

First, we need to know what is GPS?
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a group of 27 Earth-orbiting satellites (24 in operation and three extras in case one fails). When people talk about a "GPS," they usually mean a GPS receiver. The U.S. military developed and implemented this satellite network as a military navigation system, but now lets everyone use the signals.

How does GPS Vehicle Tracking work?
The unit has a wireless modem inside of it that is the same as what is inside of a cell phone. This is how the system communicates the GPS data out of the vehicle in real-time (see Wireless Networks below). Additionally, a GPS antenna is tethered to the unit with a lead wire (typically 10'-15'). The GPS antenna collects the GPS data and feeds it to the chip set in the unit, the data is fed through the wireless network (via modem) and the data is sent out to be displayed to the end user via the web.

As more and more vehicles are being car jacked and stolen everyday - one should have a gadget that would track where to locate their precious belonging and GPS would be the best choice. GPS can aid in the recovery of a stolen car. Integrated with the automobile security system, GPS can notify the car owner by phone or e-mail when the car alarm is triggered, and indicate the location of the car.An owner can contact the GPS unit from outside the car using a cell phone or via the Internet, and can start the car engine remotely and unlock the door, solving the problem of frozen locks.

Another use of GPS is - when installed in a car, a GPS unit can provide useful information about the car's position and the best travel routes to a given destination by linking itself to a built-in digital map. A monitor in the car shows the relevant portion of the map. The driver can enter the target location, and the computer will calculate the optimal route and display it instantly. Brian Gorrell and the Gucci Gang

I really can't get over Brian Gorrell's blog about the Gucci Gang and all other controversies that envelopes the Montano clan. I visit the site almost twice a day to check on what's new in his blog. There's something on his blog that makes me addicted to it...maybe his manner of writing or just the sincerity I feel in every words he uses. I became an instant fan of Brian the first day I stumble upon his blog. He claims that he is not a writer in profession - but I really feel that it's an inborn thing. The words of an honest man is indeed like a sword that cuts through the heart.

I hope Brian can recover his $70,000 savings and most importantly may he receive the gift of healing from his HIV. Listen to Magic 89.9's Good Times with Mo Twister every Wednesday morning at 7:30 am as Brian would be one of the co-hosts. Go Team Brian!

I Would Study Again!

Call Center have been a great help in the nation's economy. Hundreds of businesses around the world opt to have their contact centers to be based in the Philippines as most of the Filipinos are able to understand and speak English. Most of the accounts are for billing and customer services and some are technical in nature. I happen to be on the technical side. I was a product of a technical school - having a diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering...but unfortunately, I was not able to immediately put my knowledge into practice as my first job is clerical in nature. Anyways, the wheels have turned and luckily, since I am now a technical specialist working in a dsl account - I am now able to practice my IT training. Now, I am still looking forward to improve my skills and consider enrolling myself in some tech schools. My company just recently gave us an option to get additional courses that would be beneficial for the job and whats good is thatthey will be the one to shoulder the tuition fee! What a great way to learn additional skills for free! =)

Realizations

Being a work from home mom is one of my ambitions in life. I want to raise my own child by myself, being with her 24/7, witnessing her first smile - her first walk - her first grin, I want to experience all the first in her while she is still a child. Those moments are priceless and as a mom I feel being able to see all of those would be my rewards for carrying her in my womb for 9 months. Though I want to be at home most of the time, of course, I also would
want to help my soon to be husband financially as well. What I am thinking is to put up my own mini restaurant someday. I am not gifted with a great talent in cooking but I am willing to learn. I think I would enroll in one of those culinary schools to master the art of cooking. Not only would it be good for my soon to be business but of course my husband to be would love me more if I have that talent. Someday, if I already have a spare time, I would check on the net to look for a chef school near our place andI hope the culinary school that I would choose is good and patient enough to teach
a novice cook like me.

Who Nose?

I am one of those millions of people who wants to have my nose improved (hahaha!). I am not gifted with a pointed nose, maybe because I am a Filipino - and unlike our Western counterparts who are gifted with sharp pointed nasal organ - having a "flat" nose is a normal thing. As I said on my previous post, beauty is in the eye of the beholder... so some would look at my nose as my asset and some would treat that as an ultimate liability and flaw. In any case, I love who I am. I am not a vain person and I am contented with what God has given me - but I would not deny that if given the chance and resources - I want to have my nose done. I once read an article about undergoing nasal surgery - it shows that you need to understand that your goal should be improvement rather than perfection in considering nasal surgery. I know although I am blogging about my willingness to undergo such procedure - I know I still need to rethink before undergoing such surgery. I've also heard about the bad effect of nasal surgery on other people that they need to have a 2nd surgery and undergo perforated septum repair after some complications arise because of the first procedure. Well, I believe if you are someone who is brave enough and you feel that undergoing such surgery would improve the way you live your life - then go ahead. Nobody is responsible for your own happiness but you yourself.

Pretty Mahal

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - another person perceive you as ugly but another one sees you as a beautiful creature. The standard of beauty in one's country is a contribution of a lot of factors such as culture, climate, and way of living among others. Remember, "Mahal" - a midget actress from the Philippines was once tagged by her former boyfriend Jimboy Salazar- a former member of the 80's show That's Entertainment to be the "the prettiest woman in the world" inspite and despite of her physical appearance. The couple became a laughing stock and local media even deemed the real life love team as unpleasant . A local film director, Wenn Deramas, was even quoted saying " It's tastier to eat salted shrimp and mango than to watch them - they're like a toothache!" This statement only proves how judgemental people are when it comes to one's physical looks. No wonder why people with "not so perfect" physical appearance tends to seek advice from beauty experts - even Mahal herself admitted that she is undergoing Botox process on a regular basis to help improve her appearance. I would not be surprised that because of the stereotyping people have for beauty - she would also consider undergoing a cosmetic surgery such as the famous Maryland Cosmetic Surgery Procedures in which was also recognized by Hollywood stars. Most stars undergo such procedure to enhance their appearance as they need to maintain their good looks because of their job.

"To Mahal - goodluck and don't mind people mocking you - you are beautiful in your own right. "

- from your fan,
Emotera

Botox, anyone?

Are you afraid of being old? Does the thought of having wrinkles due to old age frightens you? We've all heard the clichés: Wrinkles are roadmaps of your life - but many of us would rather not be reminded of the distance we've traveled. What can you do to avoid having this? First, understand what causes wrinkles. Then, if you still want to reduce wrinkles, explore your treatment options. The most significant factors are aging, facial muscle contractions, sun damage and smoking. The last three contributors can be avoided through a lifestyle change - but aging - (which is the most common cause of having a wrinkle) is inevitable. In almost every country, the proportion of people aged over 60 years is growing faster than any other age group so I could just imagine how many "wrinkled face" elders are finding a lot of ways to lessen it (or if possible get rid of it). Actually, there are a lot of ways to get rid of it - wrinkle creams, surgeries, and lasers can help but due to recent technology - doctors have found an innovative process and a safe and a simple way to look younger by BOTOX.

It is a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, wrinkles, crows feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck. The toxin block the nerve impulses, temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles while giving the skin smoother, more refreshed appearance. With the a lot positive feedbacks from people who tried New York City botox treatments - I am convinced that it is the best way to look flawlessly younger. Whats good is that it does'nt only makes you feel younger but an accidental discovery also shows that Botox relieves chronic headache when injected in the area close to the head. Studies shows that it can also relieve , excessive sweating and muscles spasms.

Bonding Moments with Mother

I really love the feeling of being able to treat my mother out at least twice a month for a lunch or dinner. Spending the day with her with nothing to do but laugh, chat and have a great time gives me the feeling that I'm doing something good in my life. We usually hang out every payday...that's obvious or whenever we have some money spare for it and she would normally sleep over to my place afterwards. We usually go to a mall near our house (most of the time)but are also considering other places such as parks and museums. We also are fond going to bazaars because we are so into cheap cute things and we both have mastered the art of "negotiating" for a lesser price for a product. Through her I was able to know how to value money and how to make the most out of it. I grew up not being able to go to the mall as often as I want (because of financial reasons) but its a good thing now that I do have the resources ... I can do as I please and I could now pay back my dear mother for all the things she've sacrificed for me when I am still depending on her. We're closer now than before - I would usually call her especially when I need her opinion regarding a particular decision I need to make and she usually gives me a lots of mom advice whenever I share to her my problems. Life will not be as happy as it is - now that I am able to see my mother often. Thank you Lord for the my mother and I'm looking forward for a thousand more bonding moments with her...

Summer Sunshine

Summer time is here once more - so before you expose yourself in the heat of the sun, make sure you bring along with you some handy tips on how to take care of your skin first. Skin is a part of the body just as the liver, heart and kidneys actually it's the largest organ in the human body. When the flow of blood is hindered to the skin for any reason, the skin hardens, thickens and loses its normal appearance. As you grow older in years. the circulation of blood to the skin is lessened and it loses its youthful appearance; its color changes and wrinkles begin to form on its surface. For that reason, we need to to make sure that we know how to properly care for it. One good way on how to do that is to stay away from the harmful rays of the sun. Over exposure on it is one of the main causes of ageing skin -this only dries up the skin, accelerates ageing and also darkens it. To slow down this dehydrating process women in tropical countries should drink a lot of water and fruit juices. Also if possible, make sure that you put in skin moisturizing products that would help smooth roughness and condition the skin due to dryness brought by harmful sun rays.

Blogging and Friendship

I admit...I can't help it...the more I resist it - the more I cling to it. I don't know if I can get away from its charm but I'll sure try...Please pray for me everyone....I think it's like a disease that slowly pulling me down till the end...

I am addicted to VGH! yEAH you read it right... I've been signing up for VGH for almost 2 weeks now... though my mind informs me to resist myself from signing up for it - my heart over rules!
VGH which stands for VOLUNTARY GO HOME is a terminology usually used by call center professionals which simply means having the permission to go home earlier than their usual shift as the volume of calls are not so heavy. My shift usually starts at 10pm and ends at 7am but since VGH is allowed on the floor for almost 2 weeks now... i usually sign up for it though I don't have anything to do at the house and have completed at least 7 hours of sleep. We usually sign up for it at the beginning of our shift and usually after rendering at least 3 hrs of work - we are already given the license to go home. Who would'nt want that?! But of course, the company will only pay you for the number of hours you've worked. Which means..."pulubi sa katapusan nito"! (lol) But no regrets, I've been enjoying and devoting the rest of my time blogging and looking for any opportunities to earn online...and so far, I'm enjoying what I do.

By the way, as a token of my appreciation to my mentors in the blogging world - I would like to share this award to two of my coaches and teachers when it comes to blogging! They have been reminding me for the past couple of years (since 2004) to update my blog and always encourage me to keep this blog alive. There were even a time that I really lost my interest in blogging that I already forgot about what url to type to go there (good thing Ruthie still remember what it is). So after four years of blogging and putting my emotions into writing....i finally give back the honors to two of my bestest friends in the whole wide world...clap clap AND a lot of thank you's to my sisters ...

-thanks for always being there and for helping me revive back my passion to write - and of course by introducing mr. blogger to me =)

and of course along with this award is a personal appreciation for all the things you've done to my life....

HOPING FOR A HUNDRED MORE YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP AND BLOGGING! cheers!
