stone cutter

There was once a stone cutter who was dissatisfied with himself and with his position in life.

One day he passed a wealthy merchant's house. Through the open gateway, he saw many fine possessions and important visitors. "How powerful that merchant must be!" thought the stone cutter. He became very envious and wished that he could be like the merchant.

To his great surprise, he suddenly became the merchant, enjoying more luxuries and power than he had ever imagined, but envied and detested by those less wealthy than himself. Soon a high official passed by, carried in a sedan chair, accompanied by attendants and escorted by soldiers beating gongs. Everyone, no matter how wealthy, had to bow low before the procession. "How powerful that official is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a high official!"

Then he became the high official, carried everywhere in his embroidered sedan chair, feared and hated by the people all around. It was a hot summer day, so the official felt very uncomfortable in the sticky sedan chair. He looked up at the sun. It shone proudly in the sky, unaffected by his presence. "How powerful the sun is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be the sun!"

Then he became the sun, shining fiercely down on everyone, scorching the fields, cursed by the farmers and laborers. But a huge black cloud moved between him and the earth, so that his light could no longer shine on everything below. "How powerful that storm cloud is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a cloud!"

Then he became the cloud, flooding the fields and villages, shouted at by everyone. But soon he found that he was being pushed away by some great force, and realized that it was the wind. "How powerful it is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be the wind!"

Then he became the wind, blowing tiles off the roofs of houses, uprooting trees, feared and hated by all below him. But after a while, he ran up against something that would not move, no matter how forcefully he blew against it - a huge, towering rock. "How powerful that rock is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a rock!"

Then he became the rock, more powerful than anything else on earth. But as he stood there, he heard the sound of a hammer pounding a chisel into the hard surface, and felt himself being changed. "What could be more powerful than I, the rock?" he thought.
He looked down and saw far below him the figure of a stone cutter.

Money Matters

it's my rest day today. just stayed home...spent 4 hours in front of the computer and slept for 5 hours. Afternoon was spent reading a book my coach lend me entitled "Making Your Money Work" by Mr. Colayco. It discusses something about saving early if you want to retire early and investing in a mutual fund. Though I've finished reading the 250 page book from cover to cover - I still am not so sure on how to go about it. I dont mean na the book is not good....actually I've learned a lot! From investing, to saving and on having financial freedom. Maybe it's just that - trying to understand on how to invest on a mutual fund-without really having a background on accounting (or someone who doesnt care about compounding and debit credit stuff) is a pain in the ass. My brother Edwin discussed it to me at the hospital when we were waiting for the birth of my youngest nephew and he said that the resources are available - it's just so happen that only few people are aware that such investment exists. I hope government would be pro active in sharing this kind of money management to us Filipinos especially to us - regular employees so that we can expect a bountiful life in the future - debt free.

anyways, I drafted some of the things I want to achive this 2008 (money wise)

- to be able to save at least Php 5,000 / month from my monthly salary - if I continue doing this for a year, it will be accumulated to P60,000 multiplied by 10 years (max. no. of years I intend to work for others) would give me php 600,000. Not much but I think is enough to start my retirement easier for me.

-to be able to pay all my debts, well I only have 2 major debts right now - its bearable but I hope to finish paying for those this year. harinawa.

-i want to invest in a small business... a business that would make me busy and will give me extra income - a business that I would enjoy doing.

- i want to buy a laptop from my hard earned money got for reviewing sites. Hopefully I can buy one this April if I decided not to go to Singapore for our vacation trip. Whatever happens - I hope its God's will.

-and last but not the least, to be able to give God my tithes and offerings...It's been two years since I last went to Church. I want to revive back my faith in God through worship service and fellowship. I asked Jojo to look for a Church near our place. I want to serve God in whatever way I can. Hopefully, this year, I can give my time, money and energy back to Him.

i think i really love you

i dont know, but lately..i've been thinking of getting married. well i will turn 28 this year and jojo will turn 31 - i think this is the perfect time. we've been thinking about this for almost 2 years now - we even gone through a point where we really would like to do it - but unfortunately, his brother got married that same year. You know people here in the Philippines (especially the manangs and the manongs) still believes in "sukob" (sukob means, if a member of your family got married on the same year as your's - it would be unlucky for both of you, well something to that effect nalang).

if God permits, ill gonna be Mrs. Melanie Feir Sabile Magay...sounds good! i know that God will lead us to the right path. if we are for each other - i hope God would make a way for us....

FINDING HAPPINESS IN SMALL THINGS

I, together with Jojo and Mama, explored DIVISORIA last Sunday. I need to buy some stuff for the house and mama wants to buy gifts for her "inaanaks" but end up buying some small personal stuffs for ourselves! hahaaha.Of course, where else could you find the cheapest finds but in the Market Capital of the Philippines - DIVI. Since I know its a Sunday, I already conditioned myself of the traffic and the possibility of having to see by a lot of people, bumping and pushing each other while eagerly looking for the best deal they could find...making my
shopping task a difficult one. And I was not mistaken, hundreds or may I say thousands of people welcomed us..flooding most ofl the streets in DIVISORIA. At that point, I'm ready to back out, I never imagined the crowd would be this big - but I thought, we've gone this far..I might as well forget about how bad the situation might be and just put in mind the main reason I went here...to shop!

Enough of complaining, who was the one who actually persuade her mom and her boyfriend to go to that place on a Sunday anyway? It's me, isnt it? hahaha! So I'll just present to you some of the things I bought from DIVISORIA
that really made my day...only once a year was I able to visit this place. Last time was last year with my sister who works in Singapore when she came for a vacation.

One of those items I bought was this cute HELLO KITTY watch, believe it or not, I only purchased it for a hundred bucks!
It's so cute, and I love the color - im so into things with a black and white combination so this one is the perfect example of it...

Next is this cute BETTY BOOP bag, I remember when I was in High
School they call me Betty Boop ( I wonder why?hahaha!) and of course I noticed it immediately since it has again a Black and White plus red color combination as well. I grabbed it for only php 200! I was really surprised with the price, normally, this kind'a bag would costs around php 400 - 500 especially in some local department stores.

I also purchased this cute flip flops, hmmm...normally costs php 300 to 400 (
I saw the very same design in Rustans!) and would you believe, it only cost me php 120! I love the Dalmatian like design and of course how white handprint blends with the black base color. Very mimi!

The last "anik anik" I bought that falls into the black and white category is again a cute black and white large shoulder bag...the white polka dots design on a big bag like this m
ade it very classy and convenient to bring as well since Im so fond of big bags (I need to always bring my organizer so I need enough space to put it in). Only now was I able to realize that most of the things I bought from DIVI comprises of two major colors - black and white...hmmm...so redundant but I love it!

Besides those items I showed above I also have found here in DIVI most of my favorite things such
as make-ups (good thing I dont have sensitive skin for cheap cosmetics), coloring pens, big wallet, big shades, hairbrush, a lot of keychains and other small stuff in which prices ranges from php30 to 300! I dont mind buying cheap things as long as its durable and useful.
Let me show you some of it.

We finally decided to eat after 3 hours of roaming around the corners of TUTUBAN mall...unfortunately, all fastfoods and restos are full. I'm was so hungry at that time so I persuaded mama to just eat at CHICKEN BACOLOD INASAL since its the only resto at that time to have few customers. Mama is still hoping to eat at KFC (its her favorite) but no chance to have a seat for three. We've waited for almost 30 minutes for a chance to grab a seat but to no avail... she finally agreed. I cant describe enough how good it feels to finally be able to seat on a flat chair after walking for almost 3 hours, hungry and tired...!

Here are some of the pics taken while we're inside the resto. Took some pictures while waiting for our orders.

<------------Mama wants me to give her a portion of my newly bought VICTORIA SECRET secret crush cologne 125 ml (I purchased for only php450!). How can I refuse? She poured a quarter of it in a small
sprayer....hay.... what can I do? She's my mom!

I'm so hungry! But still manage to smile with the love of
my life who never fails to brighten my day always (yikee!) -------------->

Mama boasts about her bag she purchased for only php 200. Same bag costs php 400-500 if bought from SM.
Nice grab ma!
<-------

Mama and Jojo pose for one last shot while waiting for the rest of our orders to be served.... ----->

Went home at around 6pm...tired but happy. Why? Because I was able to bond with two of the most important persons in my life and was able to buy some cool but cheap stuff. Those things need not be expensive to bring me joy, being able to buy those things with God's financial blessing is enough for me. I'm so happy that God help me find contentment even in the most humble situation... I hope everyone who reads this maybe able to adopt the philosophy of seeing a glass half full instead of half empty and find their happiness as well even on small things. God Bless!

A New Me...

Its so nice to have my life back...ive been in quarantine (what a word to describe it!) for almost 3 years and its good to know im back in the sense na I again gave myself a chance to socialize, go out on a gimik with friends again and just take time to love myself more....Ive realized im not getting any younger, I might not be able to do this 2 to 3 years from now. Pero syempre, I want to do those things in moderation lang...partying, going out on gimiks with friends and going to the parlor more often is a good start.

I had my nails done a while ago at a beauty salon near our place. Grabe, antagal namin sa footspa, 2 hours ata yun! hahaha...the lady asked me when was the last time I had this service, and I said "last year pa ata yun..." I can almost hear her say "kaya pala ganito kakapal ang kalyo eh". Hay! What can I do miss? Masyado ako nagconcentrate sa lovelife...sa career...sa future...nakalimutan ko na ang sarili ko...(wow me ganun pa!)

Then I had my pedicure and manicure done, ang sarap uling matanggal ang excess ingrone sa paa (hahahaha), I am planning to have a hair spa din kanina sana but sobrang nangalay nako sa 3 hour stay ko dun so ive decided tomorrow ko nalang sya papaayos. Its such a relief talaga. For three long years, Ive been thinking of what should we do to have this and that....how can we invest in this and that...how much does it cost for us to buy this and that...that I overlook things that should be given much priority...myself.

Ill make things in order...hmmm..unahin ko nga muna tong bag ko...
--->ang gulo gulo....theres my organizer, sign pen, wallet, sunglasses...etc. ang dami kong dala everyday sa office, sometimes i dont get to use all of them yet if I dont have even one in my bag ...i feel im incomplete. kinda weird. Well I think its hard to change things in which im already used to since its already on my system...hmmm...I know it will be a tough thing to do, sanay nako sa mga routines ko then bigla bigla iibahin? If organizing my things is just a heavy task to do this time, pano pa kaya yung ibang bagay na mas complex? esep esep.

Ill park my thoughts about it for now...Ill just write another entry about it on my blog.

Anyway, Im so happy that my "sideline" is slowly working for me...Someone offered me a job for $5 - hahaha, php 250 rin yun more or less...sana mag tuloy tuloy. Im not so sure if I can disclose it here but siguro in time, if I already know the ins and outs of it...Ill share it with you as well. I dont want to give you info's na im still not so sure will work.

Thanks friends for always looking into my blog and reading it kahit minsan nonsense na pinagsasasabi ko. This is just a way for me to share my life to people who knows me and for them to be able to see the lessons ive learned on my journey. Sana me napupulot kayo kahit papano. Thank you thank you thank you so much.... Im planning to have a more diverse postings in the future...Ill find time for that. Sa ngayon, bit by bit info muna just to maintain this. Will keep you posted. Ciao!

Insurance? why not!

...I told you on my previous blog entry that I want to apply for a part time job instead because I feel i'm depriving myself of freedom and happiness since Im not able to do the things I love to do coz of my full time job…well forget it. I cant afford it this time…instead im planning to have a sideline.Yeah you got it right, my friend Joedel promised to help me know the ins and outs of the newest and the most appealing job for me as of the moment….Ill tell you something about it on my next blog entry but as of now, Im happy to tell you that im learning new things here. As Malen (one of my best buddies) describe it - its NOSEBLEED! Hahaha.

Anyway, I'm also thinking of getting an insurance package as a preparation for my future – but to be honest with you, I don’t even know how insurance works! I heard a lot of things about it before from an insurance agent in whom I, together with my ate, have spoken with few years back at the mall and he mentioned something about how to Save Money on Insurance, but unfortunately I was'nt able to really pick it up , hahaha! One of the main reasons why I am not really paying so much attention to what he is saying is because I am annoyed on how the agent and the company itself is presenting their Insurance Quotes. I can barely hear what he is explaining about the Insurance Plans Pros and Cons because if you're on the same hall - youll be able to hear clapping of hands on the background from his co-agents recognizing those clients who are forced (?) to sign up for an insurance policy from them. I was also able to see those possible clients who did not get one and you can see eyes staring sharply on them as if they committed a crime. In the back of my head Iknow…something is not right in here.

So it goes, too bad for the agent, my sister did'nt approve to it. She told me the rates are reasonably affordable and the insurance plan package is fine...but she too is annoyed on how the company is pressuring people to get a plan or else, no one will clap for you or something to that effect (am I making sense?) Its like an emotional blackmail or something..People having that kind of jobs should be open to any possibilities, one might get the deal or not - in anyway, they should pay respect to the clients decision without making them feel about it. Its so sad that companies like that sometimes are offering such a good business but because of the way they present their platform...they oftentimes don't get the deal.

Im still open for any quotations (?) or insurance proposal – anyone? Please email me. Ciao!

"let bygones be bygones..."

"...hi, musta ka na? i hope you have fulfilled your dreams na. im not really sure how you'll react when receive this message. anyway, i just thought a year is enough to heal all wounds. i was only hurt because you were my friend for a very long time and you know very well that i only want what's best for you. anyway, let bygones be bygones. God bless"

i was really surprised when i received that message from my friendster account. I thought this day will never come since the last time i saw the person who wrote the above message...she was very furious and fuming with anger. I am a very peaceful person and I am afraid to lose a friend - especially old buddies, there was even a point in which I hate myself for being such a pleaser - saying YES for almost all of the favors my friends are asking from me since I dont want them to get hurt nor feel bad if I decline . Sometimes, I trade my own happiness just to restore the friendship and to continue the good relationship that we have...but I am only human - humans are not infallible...humans do make mistakes...humans can lose their patience as well...

I met her when I was still working for a shipping line - my first ever job...she was my batch mate. I already saw her, i believe, on my first job interview...she was the girl before me. I still remember when the good news was given to her that her application was accepted ( i can barely hear the conversation she had with the hr specialist from outside the room)...she makes the sign of the cross maybe as a way of thanking God for the job as she passed by me having this big smile on her face. From that same moment...i already knew that our friendship would click. From that time, I already knew that she would make a big impact on my life...

And so it goes, we became the best buddies...I know i have my own bestfriend and she had hers but for me I was never as close to my bestfriend as I was with her. She has been like a sister to me...I can tell her things I can never tell my own sister since i know she would never understand (my ate is so conservative by the way). And though she already resigned, our friendship still remains. There was even a point in my life in which I rented a room in their house because I want to be independent...and no better way to do that than to live with the person you trust and knows you so much since she already knows your behavior. There was even a time as well in which she asked me to apply for a job in the company in which she is now part of so we can be together and at the same time so i can also benefit from the "promised land" -> sorry i cannot elaborate on this...Everything seems to be working fine...as time goes by, i was able to slowly see the disadvantages of having a friend as a direct superior (yeah i accepted it just because of the "promised land" along with it and a commitment of the company to make my life better after a year). The friend knows me so much that she is almost sure of the things I am doing and always keeps an eye on me because she is afraid that if i made a mistake... she will be the one to be blamed because of my actions since shes the one who recommended me to her boss...the friend tends to overlook my feelings and made me feel dumb and stupid... giving me the feeling of being incapable when I know inside I can do waaaaaay more than this....things seems to go from bad to worse with my relationship with her as my direct superior that ive decided i cant let her do this to me...small mistakes turned into big arguments...small flaws made her sooo angry to the point of her shouting at me in front of everybody and later on realizing im not the one who made the mistake but another employee...most afternoon was spent on the comfort room - interrogating me...constantly reminding me that its because of her that I am with this company, making me feel inferior, grabbing my passion to do my best on everything i lay my hands on...

I knew i need to do my own thing...especially if things are not working out for me. I need to decide for myself and I need to stand up for it. This is a time in a mans life in which although you want to say YES - you know deep inside saying NO will make you better and happier... So I asked her if I could resign (after 3 months of my stay) - i dont want to ruin the friendship so i gave her different set of reasons why i need to leave, I told her monetary reasons, a family issue and even a plan to go outside the country just to make her believe... I cant tell her that she is slowly pulling me down, cant tell her that I curse everyday I am going to that office because I know the moment I made a little mistake at that place - i would hear something from her that I can ignore....only if she is not my friend...I cant tell her that if she continue to act like that...our friendship will gradually come to an end- but instead of understanding me...she got mad. She told me things I never imagine her saying to me...i cant grasp the thought that she is capable of saying such striking words to a friend...just because she is resigning! I can still remember my last day in that office, I am literally crying a river because I am explaining to her my reasons why i need to leave but she keeps on saying things that hurted me so bad...such as "walang utang na loob" , "traydor", "ahas". Is this the price I have to pay just because I am quitting my job? Do I deserve being treated like this just because Im not staying on this company - not even HER company? Maybe I would understand if she owns it...but if she is also just an employee like me, do i really deserve being called a traitor????Im even very much willing to stay for 30 days just to have my peaceful exit but she ruined it... that very day, I cant take it no more so I picked up my things and left that company....left the office that caused me pain and misery for almost three long months... the office that shook my faith on my dear friend... i left that office knowing I will never ever go back.

So goes my life, I slowly regained my trust and confidence in myself that I missed for so long. I am now slowly putting back the pieces of myself that has been shattered for a while and im happy that I am able to put my trust again to new friends and hopefully in the near future I can be ready to face the old ones as well. That experience is so tragic that I hid myself from my old buddies since I want to distant myself from being hurt again the same intensity as the previous one.

I wrote this story not to condemn or denounce her...i wrote this so that one way or the other...my old buddies who feels that I have abandoned or forgotten them may be able to know that I became invisible from them to restore the friendship...I had this thinking before that the more you got close to someone, the more painful it will be if there'll come a time that same situation happens...but i've realized that each one of us has their own individuality, not all of us are the same. So Ill make myself visible again, im again ready to take a chance of having good friendships with the new acquaintances and especially old buddies.

And to you my long lost friend, I thank you for making the first move. Thanks for letting me know that your wounds have already healed...thanks for telling me that for the sake of those times we've shared before, you're ready to forget about that nightmare. I also want to let you know that you have always been in my prayers..same with your entire family. You have been so good to me and I thank you for making me realize how important you are to me because that experience hurted me so bad...which only means that you have the capacity to hurt me that much coz you have been the closest friend Ive ever had. I continue to pray that life will be kind to you and your family and if God allows us to continue the friendship that we had before...I am more than happy to take that opportunity once again. I still love you my friend, I understand that maybe you just love me so much that you want to keep me close to you and have the best life as well (because of the "promise land")...but you must also remember the old saying " friendship is like a bird in your hand...hold it too loosely it will slip out through your fingers...hold it too tightly and it will die..." , but as what you've mentioned on your letter...let bygones be bygones.I hope through this I can be able to let you know Im still here and Im still thanking God whenever I remember you...

"May the LORD keep an eye on us while we are separated from each other." - Gen. 31:49

Realizations (again?)

Hay, lately so many things are popping out of my head...ok lang sana kung kung ano ano lang...kaso it concerns my life....the entirety of my life! I know I had decisions in the past na sobrang hindi normal...i mean i had 4 different jobs in the past...i had 5 past relationships, nakatira na ako on 5 different houses, so some may think im a happy go lucky type of person - no direction, no consistency, no motivation - but surprisingly, im not! Most of my friends will agree to that! On the age of 7, i already knew what i want my life to be! I want to be a businesswoman, only if i had my resources siguro malaki na yung grocery ko o kaya internet shop o kaya naman restaurant....but right after college (or even during my college days) i need to work, kelangan eh. I need to pursue a career so that I can help my family. I need to work so that I can leave the house and be free to do what i want - i can only do that if I have a job...so goodbye to my dream of being a successful entrepreneur...
I am happy that I was able to be a part of CVG. I mean, i established good friendships with my teammates, the fact that office is just one GLINER ride away from our place is such a great advantage and last but not the least...the compensation benefits are AWESOME!(Imagine just passing your montly scorecard will earn you php 1800-2500 bonus each month!). I also enjoy what I do because never in my past job experiences was I so challenged the way I was now - I know some had a diffrent story to tell with regards to the company - but for me, working in CVG is really fun and at the same time fulfilling.
But heres the thing, how can i fulfill my dream if i will devote my time to this job? How can i give my 100% attention to my goal if I will still be working like this? Hay, so many possibilities are being considered as of the moment...1) Ill ask for a lateral transfer for a technical account in CVG Commonwealth and ask for the position PART TIME TECH SUPPORT REP...so that I can devote the other half of my time to my business...then 2) Ill buy
(or loan) a house in Montalban near my mother's house which is also 1 ride away from commonwealth and start my internet cafe business and mini grocery there. 3) let jojo consider his job offer as a hotel personnel in the US.... and finally 4) be happy in contented doing things I love to do... Parang ang simple lang noh, pero im so precise and I know what I exactly I want to do...kaso ang tanong, am I again ready to take the risk for the 5th time? Ang sagot malalaman ko pa sa mga darating na panahon but im hoping and praying that God would bless my plans so that things would go smoothly...Amen!

Savor the Coffee

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired. During their visit, conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in their work and lives.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and
returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups- porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite, telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the alumni had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said:
"Notice that all of the nice looking, expensive cups were taken up,leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases
it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you
consciously went for the best cups…and then you began eyeing each other's cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee; your job, money, and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life.
The type of cup one has does not define, nor change the quality of life of a person lives. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us."

God makes the coffee, man chooses the cups. The happiest people
don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.

Enjoy your coffee!

Time Indeed Flies...

Everyday is a new day...every second counts..i remember the song we used to sing in the church that goes something like "teach us oh Lord to number our days" - that is the only thing we cant take back.
This is also the prayer of every prudent man, that the Lord will teach him how to make his days and life count by granting him a heart of wisdom. We need the wisdom of God to know his timings and seasons for our life, for there is indeed a time for everything under the sun. It takes the wisdom of God to always do the right thing at the right time.A wise man once said: "Procastination is the grave in which opportunity is burried.."So from now on, i will make it a point to make my remaining days on earth worthwhile...ive realized i should not waste it on something that has no eternal impact, hahaha! so deep ba, but thats true. I miss the old me, i miss my quiet time alone with the Lord and i know im not the one feeling that way. I know He is waiting for me to take time and speak with Him again like before. Its been two years since I last went to our church, its been a long time and i wonder why God is still holding me and still gives me strenght to wake up each day...still keeps me safe..still keeps me and my family healthy while here I am neglecting him and doing things that I should not be doing in the first place. I need a drastic change, I need to do a drastic move so that I could rekindle the fire for Gods presence. The main purpose of our existence is not just to love, to work and to enjoy...the main reason were still breathing is because God wants us to be a tool for others to know how much He loves them and how He died to give us life. Im certain that some people wont understand but there's a verse in the bible that says:"The gate is narrow and the road is hard, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:14). I hope anyone who reads this blog finds the narrow road....and i hope they find it NOW because we dont have all the time in this world, the days of our life here on earth are time limited, we therefore need to number our days so that we can make our journey in life a fruitful, impact-full and memorable one.

A man was once asked how he wished to be remembered when he is dead, and he replied by saying he does not want to be remembered for how long he lived, but how well he lived for others. He wanted his life to count; just like the bible recorded our great saints, who though long dead, yet speaks...I often think how would my friends, officemates, acquaintances and even enemies would remember me when im gone...would it be positive? I think this is the best time to work on it...

How time flies, it seems just like yesterday when I had my first post as a blogger, here I am today...three years in the blogging world. Time indeed waits for no man (or woman), it flies as swiftly as the twinkling of the eye; it is undoubtedly the greatest asset of all.
A wise man once said:
"The fool spends his time, but the wise and prudent invests his"

"But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, You are my God. My times are in your hands;" (Psalm 31: 15);
O Lord, teach me to make the most of my days on earth. Amen
